TRADITIONAL PROGRESSIVE STRICTLY COMPETITION RULES
Description: A slotted, progressive dance moving counterclockwise around the floor.
Rules & Judging Criteria

​Timing: Judged on one-count timing (stepping to the beat).

Footwork: Syncopated steps allowed. Stops permitted for up to 8 counts on each straight away. Barcoast patterns, like whips and slotted moves, are allowed.

Lifts & Tricks: One foot must remain on the ground. Rides, pendulums, and one-footed spins are allowed.

Musicality: Rewarded for matching movements to musical moments.

Safety: Running into competitors reduces points.

All competitors must wear appropriate shoes.​
This is a bring your own partner competition. Divisions include Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced.

LINE DANCE COMPETITION RULES
​
Our line dance divisions are designed to showcase both precision and personality. All competitors will dance 2 minutes during prelims and a full song during finals.
​
To ensure fairness and consistency, the first two walls must be danced exactly as written on the official step sheet. After completing the required choreography, dancers are encouraged to add their own style, flair, and musicality to stand out.
​
Please note: No acrobatic skills or lifts are allowed in any line dance division.
​
Bring your technique, bring your personality, and get ready to light up the floor!
